2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: Engine and Technical Upgrade

2019 Chevrolet Silverado is recently updated – Chevy redesigned the Silverado for 2019. Furthermore, driving the 2018 and 2019 Silverado 1500 back to back showed just how much the new truck has improved over its predecessor. It’s a top-rated truck with a smooth ride and quiet interior, and it can haul your heavy loads. Its quick, smooth shifts make driving the 6.2-equipped Chevrolet Silverado especially satisfying. The new 2.7-liter four-cylinder is a clean-sheet design that was envisioned as a truck engine from the outset with the goal to make it as smooth as a V engine. It is much needed off road with the longer wheelbase of the new truck.

Don’t tell anyone at General Motors, but this latest-generation Chevrolet Silverado doesn’t look, you know, radically different from the company’s previous-generation pickup. General Motors engineers call it a fractional approach, and the idea is similar to a sprinkler timer that can water every day, every other day, every third day or every fourth day. We’re also regular people like you, so we pay attention to all the different ways people use their cars every day. If you want to buy pick up truck, crew cab, work truck or regular cab Chevrolet Silverado is the best option! 34,600, is the second-lowest trim level, ahead of only the Work Truck trim. The Work Truck trim level lets you know what it’s all about with the name. We’d like to tell you about the diesel, the 6.2-liter V8 and how they work with the 10-speed automatic, but we can’t. I can’t wait to get my hands on one with a diesel and 10-speed trans and see what it’s all about.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: Engine and Technical Upgrade

V8 Engine Upgrade

2019 Chevrolet Silverados will be available in 2-wheel drive (2WD) and 4-wheel drive (4WD) forms and with a choice of six engine/transmission combinations, including two different versions of GM’s 5.3-liter V8. A proper track test will have to confirm that pace, yet it feels entirely reasonable from our initial drive in and around Phoenix, Arizona, in roughly 5000-pound double-cab four-wheel-drive Silverados. We have seen several prototypes of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, yet never the interior styling. Interior styling is already dated, with the instrument panel and center stack looking too much like they do in the outgoing truck.

An all-new 310-hp turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four and a still-mysterious 3.0-liter diesel inline-six will join the Silverado lineup after its launch this fall. The Silverado 1500 comes equipped with one of four different engine choices for 2019. These are a 2.7-liter Turbo, a 4.3-liter V-6, a 5.3-liter V-8 or a 6.2-liter V-8. GM’s two separate brands serve similar markets, so the GMC Sierra 1500 is typically more upscale and comes at a premium price.

Technical Upgrade

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 first drive, the system includes cameras that allow the driver to not only line up with the hitch, but an HD top-down view of the hitch makes it possible to set the hitch perfectly without anyone guiding the driver. This helps you to monitor a young driver’s driving habits and to set perimeters on what they can do inside of your vehicle. The optional power-opening tailgate is a nice touch; high-end trims have one that can even be closed remotely. Overall A nice quiet ride and plenty of Power. Trailer tech, including the auxiliary trailer camera, is available, as is a power up/down tailgate. There are clever storage spaces inside, including nooks in the front of the rear seatbacks and spots under the rear seats. The Silverado’s narrow headlights sit high above a massive grille and front bumper that are chrome on most trim levels.

There are multiple reflectors and full LED headlights developed by LedoAuto, as well as a lowered and more massive front bumper. (LT package has h11 halogen fog light instead of full led headlights, but we can upgrade the fog lights by purchase h11 led bulb conversion kit and change the bulbs by ourselves) The Silverado 1500 comes equipped with one of four different engine choices for 2019. These are a 2.7-liter Turbo, a 4.3-liter V-6, a 5.3-liter V-8 or a 6.2-liter V-8. The new Silverado is initially available with both 5.3-liter V8s, as well as the 6.2-liter, in many of the available trim levels. During a Chevrolet media event in Jackson Hole, Wyo., we drove three models set up to offer different levels of performance.

The Features of 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD That We can Expect

Chevrolet said today that the next-generation Silverado HD will debut next year as a 2020 model. Stop by Hawthorne Chevrolet today for a test drive and see what Ridgewood, 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD Paramus and Little Falls residents make the drive for!

Consider one of our Hawthorne Chevrolet NJ lease deals on the Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab Standard Box 4-Wheel Drive LTZ you have your eye on. I would go as far as to say that the cabin is the least impressive one of the lot. Not only will you be able to give the truck a test drive for yourself, but you can see why it’s a sought-after model for a lot of drivers.

The Features of 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD That We can Expect

What are new the features that 2020 Silverado HD

2500HD models feature 17-inch aluminum wheels, 3500HD SRW models feature 18-inch aluminum wheels and 3500HD DRW models feature 17-inch steel wheels. Another new feature on the Silverado is a 6.6-liter gasoline V8, with 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

If the 2020 Silverado HD’s cabin resembles its little brother in any way, this heavy-duty rig will be all-truck on the inside with an upright dash, chunky buttons, and glove-friendly knobs. The old-school cabin feels a lot cluttered and features more buttons and knobs than touch-sensitive stuff. Nevertheless, GM is beginning to reduce buyers on their principal competitors, so stuff must transform earlier than anticipated

The Features of 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD That We can Expect

It will, nevertheless, bring you a beefy V8 engine, antilock disc brakes, cooling, and also stability control. It provides vinyl fabric furniture along with floors, a big 3-tenant table at the start of which crevices 40/20/40, collapsable back table, digital rearview camera, air cooling, FM radio along with a 7-inches infotainment exhibit.

What are the difference from 2019 to 2020 Silverado HD

The big steel front bumper and standard integrated bedstep instantly differentiate the HD from the 1500. The bedstep, in particular, is a new standard feature on all HD models and harkens back to old stepside pickups.

However, just like the Ram 1500 these tail lights will feature the Ram’s blind-spot monitoring system. There’s also a large, honkin’ air inside story on the hood along with LED lights on the side mirrors and on the roof as befitting a medium-duty industrial truck. There’s no ultra-lux trim supplied on Chevy’s sturdy model like on the Ford F-Series, Ram HD, or maybe the Sierra Denali HD.

Yeesh. The giant “CHEVROLET” on the front seems to irk to the car guys there, 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD and to others it just seems like a Ford or Dodge rip. Additionally, on the off chance that you think about the government agent shot and the new cabin of the all-new Silverado 1500, you will see that the car producer utilizes the purported “duplicate glue” procedure.

Like the Silverado 1500, the new heavy-duty Chevy offers more room in most cab configurations and an updated interior. Crew Cabs gained three inches of leg room.

Led Headlight Kit to 2015 Chevy Silverado

Today I just receive the LED headlights which I bought from Amazon, which costs 52 dollars, I will go to replace my OEM halogen bulbs with a headlight that came on my 2015 Silverado.

The first thing I noticed is these things come in a black box. We open it up release fit elite club and you’ve got your starter guide their product manual, there’s no wiring harnesses or there’s nothing to wire to your battery.

A lot of these H11 LED headlight bulbs are plug-and-play, you plug it, just pop in and hookup. They are a total of 72 watts and a total of 7600 lumens they’re nice and bright and they last 30,000 hours and that’s the upside of having LED bulbs is your halogen bulbs may last a thousand at the most. The thing is about it is heat kills your bulbs these have fans built into them, there’s a fan actually built into each one to keep them cool and that’s probably why they last so long. So let’s go ahead and find out how easy these things are to install and pop them on.

Led Headlight Kit to 2015 Chevy Silverado

It goes a little cap that covers the headlight, turn that counterclockwise, you pop it off then inside, there you’ve got your bulb and disconnect it. First just the connection in the bottom of it you turn it counterclockwise, pull it out. Now I am going to install the new one the last fit LED bulb and it should just pop in then you just plug in your connection back up. And cover the dust cap back over the top.

Led Headlight Kit to 2015 Chevy Silverado

Now that the LEDs are installed let’s go ahead and check them out what they look like how well they work and how they compare to the old ones. They’re that cool white color, they’re not annoying blue as you can see the bright. They’ve got a great pattern to them in thirty thousand hours of life. But with a lot of LEDs you got to do a lot of extra work, you’ve got a wiring harness you got the burner boxes you’ve got a wire up to your batteries and sometimes this plug-and-play hook them right in.

Toward to leasing a car, I will ask you to think how many miles you drive per year, and what your insurance will cover. Because one of the downsides to leasing is higher insurance premiums. You also have limited mileage you can put on the car and if you go over, you will be charged per mile.

I was just here working on the this Chevie 2004 year. I was changing the fog lights to LEDs, I’m using these LED lights, I like the product already installed one this is how the other one looks.

How you do this is usually pop it out to the back or you get like an L shape and just pop it out. You just pop out, you can see those are the little tabs and that’s new, you set up plug-and-play there you go.

If you don’t wanna take off the whole bowl, the whole land you could just take it up disconnect it from the back end. Pull it all, it has two little tabs what you want to do just put something pointy, just stuck it in and just pull it out.

For me and each side just pull up there you go old versus then you to put it back you know the drill how you take it off put it back in. I have a little cruise you hear that little kick, you can just connect it why are you up here unless you want to go under the truck. How were you guys find it more convenient, just plug and their little grooves. We’re putting the light back on you need a line the little tabs some jobs the tab just put them down, so they cut our line. Once you do that there you go two LEDs fog lamps done.

let me show you guys the difference between the regular halogen and led as you can seel ook at the light over there and the regular.

Road Trips for safety on Summer Travelling

Summer vacation is coming soon, no matter you are at working or you are a student. It is a good time to relax yourself and family. Also, It’s that time of year to think for a getaway. Whether you are planning to go on a long-distance journey or a short weekend getaway, no matter you are leaving just for the weekend or going on a two-week-long vacation. We have some road trip safety tips for you.

1) On the day before you start your journey, you should clean out your car and have it inspected. If you don’t know how to do this thing, please find a professional. Remove any trash or things in the car that wouldn’t be used for the trip so you could get enough space for the luggage. At night, you should get enough rest.  Driving at fatigued condition can be just as dangerous as driving while intoxicated.

2) Share driving responsibilities. If this is a trip with your family, you should share the driving time. One person takes 2 hours on driving, if you get three drivers, every driver can have 4 hours at rest. Your guys help each other to keep an extra set of eyes on the road.

3) Bring a detailed map or road atlas. This thing happens usually, you almost reach your destination, and your GPS no longer receives its satellite signal, you have to ask local for directions and sometimes they guide a wrong direction to you, this causes you to lose much valuable time. Do yourself a favor and bring a hard copy map with you for those just-in-case scenarios. GPS systems and smartphones are great, but often times lead you off course or die from battery exhaustion.

4) Make sure to pack all of the essentials aside from just your clothes:   plenty of water, food, fruits, shoes, clothes, toiletries, pillows, cash, and anything else you might need in case of a car breakdown. Also, consider bringing a road trip safety kit with you that includes a first aid kit and jumper cables.

How to install Interior LEDs on 2nd Generation 2011 Chevrolet Silverado

Today we have a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado extended also known as the GMC Sierra quad cab that will be installing led into your lights on let’s go ahead and get started.

Replace map lights

We’ll be using one of the trim piece tools to pry loose that overhead cover to get access to those map light bulbs. There are four points of contact that are being made for that cover, you’ll be using the tool to pry in and release two of those edges to get that cover to come out. Then using the pointed wedge tool that comes with your kit to help remove the old halogen bulb and replace it with the LED bulb in your kit.

These LED bulbs are polarity specific, sometimes they will work after the first attempt. If they don’t make sure that you reverse them and change the polarity and then try it again. Once you know that the balls work pop the cover back on in place.

Replace dome lights

For the rear cabin dome lights, you’re going to being the same trim tool as the front overhead map lights and you’re going to be prying from the passenger side to release the cover. Once you release and let that hinge comedown, it’ll release the entire assembly, it’ll come out of your overhead console. With access to the bulb, you can use the pointed wedge tool get that halogen bulb out, replace it with an LED bulb.

Make sure that if it doesn’t work the first time you flip it around change the polarity reinsert it and test it again before reinserting that cover back into the overhead console. Put it into the passenger side first then put the driver’s side in, use that hinge to lock the whole piece in place.

Replace license plate lights

For the rear cab light, you do need a head screwdriver to release the assembly from the roof liner, take your head screwdriver, remove the two screws on the left and right side, you’ll be able to pretty easily remove that entire light housing. That light housing has two sides, the furthest left and the furthest right are the cab lights, twist it counterclockwise to release the bulb assembly, remove it.

The license plate lights are a little bit trickier, you have to pull backward on the bulb release the clip that’s holding it in place. Turn counterclockwise to separate the bulb housing from the assembly, once you have that taken care of you’ll have access to the halogen bulb again the lights are on, once you’ve confirmed that the light bulb is working go ahead and reinsert the assembly for the bulb back into the housing, and snap that bad boy back in place.
